The Peer Advisor Program is an integral part of the Baskin School of Engineering Undergraduate Student Affairs Unit. Peer Advisors are indispensable in providing front-line support services and information, answering major-related questions, and making referrals to campus services and resources.

Major: Computer Science: Computer Game Design B.S.
Hello! My name is Aditya Bali (he/him), and I am a third-year computer science: game design major from San Jose, California. I decided to become a peer advisor because I know that navigating through college is a complex and in-depth process, from beginning to end, and I thought that I can help ease this process for my peers. I love listening to music, playing video games, as well as watching classic Hollywood movies.

Hello! My name is Penelope Campos (they/she), and I’m from Santa Clarita. I’m in my third year here at UCSC majoring in technology and information management and economics! Last year, I made use of the peer advisors and found it to be super helpful, and I found myself here in order to carry on the advice and information to any students who need it. In my free time, I like to sit and try finding new music, making a new playlist every month.

Hello! My name is Ashwin, and I am a fifth-year robotics engineering major with an electrical engineering minor from Palm Springs, California. I am looking forward to working on the peer advising team and helping other students through the processes of enrollment and major qualification, which I know from personal experience can be pretty confusing. Hello, my name is Maxx Muscat (he/him), and I am a fourth-year computer science major from Sacramento, California. My college affiliation is Crown. It's nice to meet you all! I decided to become a peer advisor because, coming here as a freshman, I knew what it was like to be overwhelmed by the new and exciting environment that is college, as well as all the stress that comes with it. My hope is to help alleviate some of that stress by providing the best and most accurate information possible! Hello everyone! My name is Sarah and my pronouns are she/her/hers. I'm a fourth-year biomolecular engineering student from the East Bay Area. I started peer advising as a way to connect and support students during the remote school year, but hope to continue fostering an encouraging environment to help others succeed in college. I'm a researcher and DEI committee member for the UC Santa Cruz Genomics Institute and also a member of the UCSC dance team. A fun fact about me is that my lab grows 3D brain models in a petri dish!
