About the Programs

The Virtual Exchange is a six-week program that provides grantees with exceptional learning opportunities through workshops, coaching, and individualized mentorship from accomplished video game industry professionals.

The 2024 GDC Program gives individuals from underrepresented communities around the globe a chance to attend GDC in 2024.

Cohorts for both programs include:

HBCU-HSI Scholars supports students and recent graduates of Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Hispanic-Serving Institutions within the U.S.
Next Gen Leaders supports mid-career game industry professionals as they look to transition to leadership roles in the industry.
Velocity is for professionals looking to transition into the game industry from a non-gaming career or industry.
International Scholars is designed for college students who are currently enrolled in a university or are recent graduates.
