Scholarship Opportunity for Computer Science Students!
Scholarship Opportunity! VMware, inc. is offering to Computer Science students to help ease their financial burden! These scholarships help promote women in technology, as well as traditionally underrepresented minorities in the tech space. VMware is a leader in cloud computing and virtualization in Palo Alto, CA. APPLICATIONS DUE JULY 18!
The Achieve scholarship provides a one-time, $10,000 USD tuition award to a female student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related. Applicants must identify as a woman and be currently enrolled in a US based accredited university with a minimum GPA of 3.4.
VMware Rise Scholarship:
The Rise Scholarship provides a one-time, $5,000 USD tuition award to TWO students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related. Applicants must identify with one or more underrepresented minority groups and be currently enrolled in a US based accredited university with a minimum GPA of 3.0. (This scholarship is open to all genders!)

Work as a tutor for Learning Support Services
Learning Support Services (LSS) provides small group and individual tutoring for students taking a wide variety of courses in Baskin Engineering. They are looking for students who want to be a paid Tutor or Learning Assistant for the classes they support!
LSS has plans to support the following courses in Fall 2021:
CSE: 12, 13S, 16, 20, 30, 100, 101, 102, 103, 111, 112, 120, 150, 180
AM: 10, 11A, 11B
ECE: 101, 103
STAT: 5, 7, 131

- Modified Supplemental Instruction (MSI) Learning Assistant
- Embedded MSI Learning Assistant
- MSI Study Group Leader
- Student Assistant
