Raspberry Pi Foundation's North America team is looking for a summer instructor who will each lead our “Introduction to Python: Variables, functions, and loops” pathway with one of our partners, Digital NEST in Watsonville. Instruction will take place at our partner sites and requires a commitment to facilitating six 60 to 90-minute Python sessions. The Raspberry Pi Foundation will provide all instructional materials and training necessary to deliver the program.
Requirements:

Must be comfortable with Python programming or a similar programming language.

Must be comfortable teaching a group of 10 to 20 youth, ages 13 to 18.

Must be able to work in the US.

Teaching or similar experience is a plus.

Session Times: TBD, but your portion only runs for about 90 minutes, twice a week

We'll reimburse travel costs for students travelling from the Bay Area to Watsonville
This is a contracted, paid opportunity by the Raspberry Pi Foundation. It's a very short commitment, just about 35 hours across 4 weeks.
