Recruiting Students Interested in Tech Career Mentorship!

The Tech4Good lab is looking for students to participate in a research study on designing chat interfaces to support mentorship. In the study, students will have the opportunity to receive mentorship from UCSC alumni currently working in diverse tech paths such as UI design, UX research, and software engineering. Students will have the opportunity to connect with and befriend other like-minded UCSC students, and also be entered into a lottery to win a $25 Amazon gift card. If you would like to learn more about different paths in tech, receive career advice, and network with students, then this study might be a good fit for you!

Study information: Study participation involves attending a one-hour long mentorship session once a week for two weeks, completing surveys, and optionally participating in an interview about your experience. For more information, please refer to this flyer.

If you would like to participate, please complete this quick Google survey. If you have any questions about the study or study participation, please reach out to Marissa Lewellen at mlewelle@ucsc.edu. Hope to hear from you! PilotStudyPoster.pdf
