This is an exciting research position for software design and development here on UCSC campus. The work is design of a novel hardware-software co-designed ultrasound beam-former system for High Intensity Focused Ultrasound or HIFU, which is a promising medical non-invasive therapy. The device has c++ core and machine interface, some parts in Python.
