Abstract: Blizzard Entertainment makes some very large games but each of these is often made up of small teams and features who are rapidly spinning up, iterating, and separating again to work on other parts of the game. Join Lead Game Designer Kevin Martens as he explains a number of lessons learned. Kevin has had the privilege to see 100s of student game projects and demos and has adapted this talk to speak directly to how these lessons apply to students who are making their own games.
